WHAT WE DO

Some of the various roles of the ICT center plays in the University are;

  • Assisting in Biometric verification and enrollment of students
  • Assisting in examination and various activities held at the Lab
  • Assiting students with their day-to-day IT related issues

UITS DIRECTORATE

The UITS is the main provider of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services across the University. It is responsible for the development and acquisition of ICT Infrastructure and services to drive the University’s core business of teaching, learning, research, and its related administrative activities.

The Summer School is an annual capacity-building program that develops staff and professionals through innovation, academia-industry collaboration, and future-of-work learning.

PERSONNEL TRAINING

We train personnels through the troubleshooting stages and various IT basics in today's IT world to enhance and equip them for the real world

HERE ARE SOME RULES OF THE ICT CENTER

Do not change PC settings

Keep password a secret

Do not open unapproved sites

Listen and follow instructions

Do not bring drink or food near the Keyboard

Do not erase anything from the PC

Do not connect or Disconnect any cable

Do not plug a USB or any other device into the PC

Do not install personal softwares on any PC

Keep sound level to a minimum to avoid disturbance

Avoid unneccessary noice at the Lab

Re-arrange chairs and PC components as they were after usage
